READ BEFORE POSTING – Issue reporting guidelines

Here are the rules for posting – please follow them.

• Before posting, please read the GigLights Manual.  A lot of questions can be answered just by reading.  Here is the manual.
• Search the forum before posting, in case a similar (or same) question has already been asked/answered.
• Be polite.  I will not tolerate angry disrepectful tones in posts.
• Only create posts in English.  I don’t know any other languages so if it’s not in english, I can’t reply. Sorry.
• Do not write in caps. It’s rude and useless, since you won’t have more chance to be answered
• If you are posting about an issue, please provide as much information as you can.  What interfaces are you using? what audio input? etc…
• Please explain the steps it took to produce your issue if posting an issue.
• Always consider that if something doesn’t work in your environment, it doesn’t mean it won’t work for everybody.
• Read the documentation first !

Remember, only constructive polite posts is how you get help.  Rude and angry posts will get you no where and possibly banned.
